Die beiden deutschen Produzenten JR&PH7, die mir eigentlich neu sind, veröffentlichten am 20.März ihr gemeinsames Producer-Album “The Standard“. Erscheinen wird der Longplayer über das Wiener Label der Waxolutionists namens Supercity. Die Feature-Liste klingt mit unter anderem Rakaa Iriscience von den Dilated Peoples, Planet Asia, Edo G., Guilty Simpson, Skyzoo und Black Milk ziemlich vielversprechend. Das Label im Pressestatement über das Album:

“This is not about bling, fancy ringtones and all that, it´s about rappers, who got something to say. Groovy beats and soulful sampling combined with heavy drumming make this album a listening pleasure for the audience and JR&PH7´s mission pretty simple: It´s about where you´re at, not where you´re from.
